Size-dependent geometry and frame stiffness<\/b><\/p>\n

Chainstay length and seat tube angle are tailored to each frame size (the seat tube angle gets steeper and the rear triangle length increases with frame size), ensuring that every rider, regardless of height, gets the same balanced geometry for optimal handling. And because larger riders generate more stress, Santa Cruz adjusts the stiffness for each frame size. This ensures that every rider receives the same perfect ride quality.<\/p>\n

120mm VPP\u0099 Federweg<\/b><\/p>\n

For some, it's (too) little suspension travel, for others it's everything they need. With 120mm, you won't glide through the roughest rock gardens as carefree as with its longer-travel counterparts, but as soon as it's about racking up real trail meters and tearing through the terrain at high speed, the Tallboy is in its element.<\/p>\n

Fast chassis<\/b><\/p>\n

The Tallboy is quite progressive. Due to the low leverage ratio at the beginning of the suspension travel, the suspension responds very well. Towards the end of the travel, it remains defined and controllable, providing a direct yet comfortable ride feel.<\/p>\n

Quick-witted<\/b><\/p>\n

By significantly reducing the maximum anti-squat value (compared to previous Tallboy generations), Santa Cruz has considerably reduced the interaction between the chassis and drivetrain while simultaneously greatly improving responsiveness. Since the anti-squat values correlate with the anti-rise value, they were also able to lower this value, minimizing the effects of braking on the new Tallboy.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
