Whether used for mail delivery, transporting groceries or crates of drinks, or even for taking children to school or daycare, cargo bikes are more in demand than ever. It’s no wonder, then, that Długa wędrówka is now launching its own version of this wire-frame workhorse. But what can these two cargo bikes from the American company do? The two bikes share several features, including:

Bosch Performance Line CX motor

Hydraulic 4-piston brakes

Bosch LED handlebar remote control

Bosch Smart System compatible

Controller: Bosch BSP3200 Smartphone Holder

Both the Trek Fetch+ 2 and Fetch+ 4 are fully smartphone compatible and can be paired with the Bosch eBike Connect app . This allows you to view range and battery level, plan and record routes, and customize the bike to your individual preferences.

Upon closer inspection, one of the differences between the two models immediately becomes apparent: While the Fetch+ 4 has a classic box located directly behind the front wheel, the Fetch+ 2 is equipped with a long rear rack. This allows the Fetch+ 4 to transport up to 5 children (250 kg total load), and the Fetch+ 2 up to 2 children (200 kg total load). The wheel sizes also differ: The Fetch+ 2 rolls on two 20-inch wheels, while the Fetch+ 4 uses a 27.5-inch rear wheel. Differences can also be seen in the drivetrain: The + 2 is chain-driven and shifted, while the + 4 is belt-driven and has an internal hub gear system.

The Trek Fetch+ 4 cargo bike in detail

We were able to see the Fetch+ 4 live and in color and take some initial photos for you:
<div class="wp-block-jetpack-tiled-gallery aligncenter is-style-rectangular" data-carousel-extra="{"blog_id":1,"permalink":"https:\\\\www.hibike.de\\blog\\produktvorstellung rek-fetch-lastenrad"}"><div class="tiled-gallery__gallery" data-carousel-extra="{"blog_id":1,"permalink":"https:\\\\www.hibike.de\\blog\\produktvorstellung rek-fetch-lastenrad"}" data-jetpack-block-initialized="true"><div class="tiled-gallery__row" data-carousel-extra="{"blog_id":1,"permalink":"https:\\\\www.hibike.de\\blog\\produktvorstellung rek-fetch-lastenrad"}"><div class="tiled-gallery__col" data-carousel-extra="{"blog_id":1,"permalink":"https:\\\\www.hibike.de\\blog\\produktvorstellung rek-fetch-lastenrad"}">

Trek Fetch+ 4 cargo bike: the most important features

Robust aluminum frame in one size

A low center of gravity and cable steering ensure stable and safe driving characteristics, outstanding handling and optimal control.

High-performance Bosch Smart System Performance Line Cargo drive system

Smartphone controller with ample connectivity options and inductive charging function

Quiet and low-maintenance Gates CDX belt drive with CVT hub for impressively smooth gear changes

Hydraulic 4-piston disc brake for reliable braking power

Adjustable dropper seatpost for easy mounting and dismounting

Adjustable stem

Two child seats with three adjustable backrest positions (upright, chill mode, and sleeping position) for added comfort.
